Creative Oracy in Practice: A Cross-Sector Networking Afternoon

Leeds33-19Nov_52
A cross-sector networking event for schools and cultural providers exploring creative oracy, collaboration and future work across Leeds.
Leeds33 Cross Sector Networking

🗓️ Wednesday 11th February
⌚️ 1pm – 4pm
📍 University of Leeds

Join Leeds33 for a subsidised cross-sector networking afternoon bringing together schools and cultural education providers to explore creative approaches to speaking and listening in classroom practice.

This event is designed as a space for shared learning, listening and collaboration. Teachers will have the opportunity to talk openly about the challenges they face when developing oracy in the classroom, share practice they are proud of, and help shape the kinds of offers that would be most useful to them. Cultural education providers will share the work they are doing across Leeds and outline the creative offers they have available — or in development — for schools.

The session includes structured speed networking to support meaningful connections, followed by wider discussion around current curriculum expectations and classroom realities.

We are delighted to welcome Adam Power-Anand, CEO of Speech Bubbles, who will share insights from the Speech Bubbles model and contribute to a broader conversation about creative oracy practice and the potential for future work in Leeds.

Each place at this event is subsidised by £100 per participant, supporting access and ensuring a balanced mix of schools and providers.

This is a networking and exchange event, rather than a formal training session, and is intended to support future collaboration and co-development.

Request a place by completing the form at the bottom of this page.
