This incredible support means that we can continue our mission to make a lasting impact on the cultural education landscape in Leeds.
After submitting our application to the Arts Council National Lottery Project Grants back in December 2024, we are thrilled to announce that, at the very end of last month, we received the fantastic news that our application was successful!
A huge thank you goes out to Leeds City Council, the University of Leeds, our incredible Board of Trustees, and everyone who helped and believed in our vision. Your support has been invaluable!
This funding from Arts Council England will allow us to bring exciting opportunities to life over the next year. We’re gearing up to deliver a series of CPD sessions, in-person networking events, a youth leadership programme, a knowledge-sharing event, and continue our work supporting the Mapping Creative Arts Education: Access, Inclusion, and Progression in Leeds research project.
Kicking things off, we’re excited to announce a new survey for schools as part of this the Mapping Creative Arts Education study. We’re asking schools across Leeds to share data on their arts curriculum and enrichment programmes. This data will contribute towards a web-based resource that maps creative arts education in Leeds, giving vital insights into benchmarking, school priorities, and cultural education providers in the city.
If you’re a school and want to contribute to this exciting city-wide study, visit the survey page for more info.
We can’t wait to get started and bring all these amazing activities to life! The upcoming 12 months are going to be packed with new opportunities, and we’re so excited to share details with you soon. Stay tuned for how you can get involved and be part of improving Leeds’ cultural education for the better!
