These resources were created by Leeds 2023, to celebrate the rich cultural history of the city of Leeds. 2023 was a year like no other, with cultural activity exploding across every corner of the city. The Creative Learning Team at Leeds 2023 created these resources as part of the first signature project, The Awakening, which saw Leeds 2023 run workshops in schools all over Leeds to introduce learners to Leeds’ rich cultural tapestry. We created a series of short films and lesson resources, freely available for you to use to teach learners of all ages about the cultural heritage of Leeds.
